What is a Katana?
A katana (translated as "name of the lord") is a Japanese sword used by Japanese samurai since about the 15th century.
A katana has a curved blade with a single-edged guard and hilt.
Length ranges up to one meter. It was worn together with the short sword "Wakizashi".
