Product detailed description
CPK's Nathan 'The Machinist' Carothers combines uncompromising design, premium materials and unadulterated functionality in the Boker Magnum Collection 2025 knife. Limited to 1999 pieces worldwide, this limited edition collector's piece personifies the purely practical approach of the American cutter and machinist.
The massive drop-point profile blade, made from BKR-10 powder-coated steel, combines a brushed and satin two-tone finish. This stainless steel, specially developed for Boker, is close in composition and properties to Japanese VG-10. The high carbon and chromium content ensures excellent corrosion resistance and high hardness, while the addition of cobalt enhances the effect of the individual elements of this complex material. The blade is integrated in an uncompromising full tang construction that guarantees maximum strength and durability.
The ergonomic G10 composite blade, firmly fixed with screws, provides a secure grip in all conditions. The textured surface minimizes the risk of slipping, while the ingeniously shaped thumb rest and finger guard enhance safety on the job. Inspiration from tactical knives is reflected in the full-size knife, whose balanced design facilitates even prolonged use without hand fatigue. This model excels not only in demanding everyday tasks and outdoor activities, but also as an exclusive collector's item.
The handle inspired by the traditional Texas Toothpick knife is a reference to the classics. The knife comes in a sleek wooden package along with a premium black leather sheath with integrated belt loop and certificate of authenticity. The Boker Magnum Collection 2025 is not only a functional tool, but also a unique collector's artifact for connoisseurs of the art of knifemaking.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
