Ryumon and Masahiro
No weapon in history has ever been associated with such mystery and tradition as the Japanese sword. The sword is so closely associated with the Japanese samurai that it has become known as the "soul of the samurai". It was both a weapon and a symbol-its forging resembled a religious act and wielded with superhuman dexterity. A sword made-forged by a renowned master was one of the most valuable gifts a warrior could receive.
For more than 2,600 years, the city of Longquan, aka "the city of magic swords", has been considered the maker of the finest swords in the world. The city is located on the border of southern Zhejiang, China, below Mount Fengyang.
The city of Longquan is rich in natural resources, which are needed to produce swords.
During the "Warring States Period" (770-476 BC), the famous blacksmith Ou Yezi made a famous sword in Longquan. And since then, the secret of making this sword has been passed down from generation to generation.
Ruymon and Masahiro swords are made by craftsmen who have years of experience from Longquan city. These master blacksmiths have combined modern knowledge with traditional secrets to create the perfect quality sword that is durable, exceptionally sharp and exquisitely crafted.
