The Outback Edition line is designed to meet the highest demands of hunters and bushcrafters because it is 100% weatherproof. Silky has applied a black coating made from a unique blend of nickel and tin to the entire blade, including the teeth. This ensures long blade life and incredible cutting performance, while the dark anti-reflective paint makes this saw destined for tactical operations. The composite handle is made of wood and plastic: it's slightly harder to the touch than the usual Silky GOM rubber handle, but offers better grip when working with oily substances. The Gomboy multifunctional folding saw is ideal for a variety of outdoor jobs. It has exceptional teeth and cuts on the first stroke, does not require much force and is easy to operate: this allows not only very fast cutting of thick tree trunks, but also a very precise cut. The blade locks in two different positions with a locking mechanism. It is easy to unlock and fold, so the sharp teeth remain safely covered as they are completely hidden inside the handle. The cut-out in the blade makes it easy to unfold, even with gloves on. The Gomboy comes in a sturdy transparent case with belt holder: there is a cut-out on the underside and two holes for the removal of freshly cut wet dust.

To maintain effectiveness, the knife should be kept clean. The resin dissolves in olive oil, which is an effective and environmentally friendly way to maintain the blade. More aggressive liquids can damage the rubber material of the handle.
When not in use, ensure that the saw is always dry. Store the saw in a dry place, preferably in a sturdy case or suitable sleeve.

In addition, several models, such as Sugoi, Hayate and Tsurugi, are made of high-alloy steel, which makes the saw blade stronger, more resistant to corrosion and better equipped to withstand temperature changes. All saw blades are replaceable and the replacement itself is simple.
