Gaius Julius Caesar is perhaps the most famous Roman politician, writer and most importantly military leader to this day, renowned for his successful military campaigns into what was then Gaul, Britain and across the Rhine River, these forays greatly extended the power of the Roman Empire far to the north and made him one of the most powerful men in the world at the time.
The reproduction of Caesar's sword Gladius is indeed richly and beautifully decorated with ancient ornaments almost all over the blade, the guard and the distinctive pommel are decorated with scenes from the Emperor's life.
This is not a functional sword, it is for decorative purposes only.
