Cold Steel Flower Katana features a stylized floral design on the silver/nickel tsuba and kashira, a forged 1060 carbon steel blade with a convex cut.
The blade's edge has been heat-partially hardened to create a tempered hamon in the distinctive traditional manner.
The attractive hardwood handle is tightly wrapped with black silk cord and includes a traditional Menuki and Same (Ray Skin) backing.
The included black lacquered Saya (scabbard) is made of hardwood and is finished with traditional Japanese style silver/nickel hardware.
