Shikoto Hammer-Forged Longquan Master Teal Katana

When you hold the Shikoto Hammer-Forged Longsword Master, you are holding the same weapon that warriors used over 2500 years ago. The 69 cm long blade of T10 high carbon steel was hammer forged and hardened in clay to create the visible line of the hamon. Thanks to differential hardening, this magnificent sword has a harder edge and softer back, the hallmark of a high quality weapon. The tsuba and hilt fittings are solid brass with an antique bronze finish and the wooden handle has a traditional tea cord wrapped with genuine, tea-dyed stingray leather. The blade is housed in a black lacquered and polished wooden scabbard with cord wrapping. The Shikoto Longquan Master Teal katana also includes a certificate of authenticity with blacksmithing details signed by the master swordsmith who made the blade.
