Böker Solingen Trapper Walnut
Code: 111044Product detailed description
The Böker Trapper knife is inspired by the tools used by American hunters and explorers, known as "trappers". These pioneers, who were involved in the mapping and settlement of North America, needed reliable and versatile tools for everyday work. This model retains their legacy combined with modern workmanship and materials.
The main blade is made of 440C steel, which is characterized by high corrosion resistance and good blade retention. The processing makes the blade suitable for both fine cutting and small work tasks. The blade opens with a traditional nail cutout (nagelhau), which emphasises the classic character of the knife. This model does not use a locking mechanism, making it a slipjoint knife.
The handle of the knife impresses with its harmony between the natural look of the walnut wood and the polished new silver (neusilber) attachments. The walnut wood, known for its fine texture and warm colour, ensures a comfortable grip and gives the knife an aesthetic timelessness. The handle design is slim, making it a practical companion suitable for everyday carry.
Each knife is handmade in the Böker knife manufactory in Solingen, which is renowned for its tradition and precision craftsmanship. To protect the knife during storage or carrying, a high-quality soft felt sheath is included, adding to both practicality and elegance.
