The Subcom 2.0 is equipped with a short blade made of D2 tool steel, which is known for its hardness and excellent ability to maintain its edge even under intensive use. The Stonewash finish not only improves scratch resistance and masks minor wear, but also gives the knife an industrial, modern look.
The reversible thumb stud (pin on the blade) makes opening the knife quick and easy for both right and left-handed users.

The handle combines durable steel construction with a coated finish and distinctive grip plate made of orange Zytel. This thermoplastic is lightweight, strong and provides high resistance to moisture, temperatures and chemicals. Molded 3D milling and subtle textures ensure that the knife fits firmly in the hand, even when conditions are difficult such as rain or sweat.
A distinctive finger guard on the handle prevents the hand from slipping towards the blade, greatly increasing safety when working.

The Subcom 2.0 is equipped with a reliable frame-lock, which ensures that the blade is firmly fixed in the open position. The frame-lock, consisting of a robust steel plate, is resistant to accidental release and also guarantees a long service life of the mechanism.
