The Arborist version je vyvinutý pro zajištění bezpečného a efektivního řezu při ořezávání těžko přístupných větví. Tento výrobek umožňuje uživatelům řezat větve ve výšce 8 metrů na kmeni stromu, aniž by museli používat žebřík nebo si k tomu přizvat odborníka. Díky dlouhým popruhům připevněným k pile mohou uživatelé při řezání větve ustoupit do bezpečné vzdálenosti 8-10 metrů. Díky této funkci je pila Arborist bezpečným nástrojem a zabraňuje případným zraněním způsobeným padajícími větvemi nebo klacky.
Řetěz řeže v obou směrech při tahání popruhů tam a zpět. Tím je zajištěno nepřetržité efektivní řezání, protože při používání pily nepřijde žádná energie nazmar. Na rozdíl od ostatních výrobků v našem sortimentu má Arborist oboustranný řetěz, který umožňuje řezání z obou stran. To znamená, že nezáleží na tom, kterým směrem je řetěz umístěn nad větví. Nordic Pocket Saw was founded in 2015 by two childhood friends who saw an opportunity to create a quality product for their own outdoor adventures and later for thousands of other outdoor enthusiasts.
It all started when their friend went on a hunting trip to the Amazon. He ventured into the most remote parts of the Amazon jungle and met natives from different tribes along the way. He took with him on the trip a hand chainsaw, also known as a pocket saw, which he bought as a souvenir on one of his business trips. He decided to give it to one of the tribe's leaders, who appreciated the gift so much that he said it was one of the most useful gifts he had ever received.
Two childhood friends later learned of the encounter with the tribe's leader and thought that a similar saw might come in handy on their outdoor adventures. In their search for this tool, they discovered that it was not available in Sweden or Europe. Eventually they bought a few samples on Amazon in the US, but during testing the saws broke or didn't work at all.
This is where the idea of producing a high quality hand chainsaw was born. Today Nordic Pocket Saw has become an international brand with sales in more than 25 countries on 5 different continents. The hand chainsaw has always been and still is the backbone of the company, even though the catalogue has expanded to include new product segments. From the very beginning, quality has been the guiding star in the development of new products, and this is because customers should rely on our tools when they test them. Producing quality products is also a fundamental starting point in our continuous work to be and become more sustainable every year.
We are a good bunch of people in the company with various interests in the outdoors, forestry, orienteering, skiing and more. As an example, we have an employee who grew up as a fifth generation sawmill owner. We also have a former elite orienteering runner who has won every lunchtime race in the company to date. We think it's important to be interested in sports and the outdoors because that's when you understand what real value means to the customer in our segment.
