A replica of the legendary Scottish sword Claymore, this sword was used in battle by Scottish Highlanders and mercenaries fighting mainly in medieval wars in Ireland.
The double-edged, double-handed sword Claymore reached a length of up to 140 cm. This sword usually had a straight hilt with a spherical pommel.
The design was chosen by the maker based on imagination and similar Scottish medieval swords, it is not a copy of the sword of any particular historical figure.
It is not a functional sword, it is for decorative purposes only.
