A decorative copy of the sword of the Venetian traveller, writer and seafarer Marco Polo, who was the first European to describe in detail in his book Milon his travels in the then China and East Asia, where he also became a courtier of the most powerful khan Kublai.
The rich decoration of the sword by engraving is based on Venetian heratic motifs and symbols of the late 13th and early 14th centuries.
It is not a functional sword, it serves only decorative purposes.
