The KMFS Vantaedge Grinding System Set of 5 grinding wheels offers accurate and efficient edge finishing with a range of grits of 1500, 3000, 6000, 8000 and 10000 grit. Each sharpener is housed in a duralumin holder that ensures maximum stability and even grinding angle guidance, eliminating unwanted vibration and shifting while working. The duralumin holders are characterized by their light weight and high strength, making them easy to handle and contributing to the longer life of the entire set.
The coarser grinds (1500 and 3000 grit) are used to remove larger irregularities and restore the basic bevel of the blade. The medium coarseness (6000 grit) allows fine tuning and transition to a finer finish. Fine grinds of 8000 and 10000 grit are designed for final polishing of the blade to achieve mirror-smooth facets and extreme sharpness.
This set provides a variation of blade finishes from basic grinding to extremely fine polishing. It is suitable for both professionals and discerning users who value precision knife finishing.
