The name of the series "Namishibuki" means rippling water in Japanese, as the attractive black damascus blade looks like the ripples of the ocean. This blade is composed of 101 layers of damascus and a core of high-speed powdered steel with a hardness of 61 ± 0.5 HRC.
The best sharpness is delivered by a team of super skilled craftsmen whose boundless devotion to making kitchen knives in Seki. The originality comes from the traditional Japanese octagonal handle, which is composed of black wood and a red micarta ring.
This knife comes with a traditional Japanese "Kuro-Ishime" cover in a luxurious wooden box.
