Due Cigni knife Santoku series 1896 walnut 18cm
Code: 2C 1005 NORelated products
Product detailed description
Santoku is a knife inspired by Japanese knives. It can handle slicing and shredding meat, fish, fruit, vegetables and herbs. The very sharp blade of these knives allows you to slice meat and fruit in a way that avoids leakage of juices, so the food is incredibly juicy. The blade is notched on the sides to hold air, which prevents pieces of meat from sticking to the knife.
The knives, which are part of the exclusive 1896 Due Cigni series, have handles made of walnut wood, which is extremely appreciated for its unmistakable pattern and high durability. This unique wood has been used in Europe since the 17th century, especially for the production of first-class furniture, the stocks of valuable hunting rifles, and high-end artistic and decorative objects. Its excellent qualities are evidenced, for example, by the fact that the price of Asian walnut wood is much higher than that of frequently used exotic woods (rosewood, mahogany).
