The grinding stone is made from artificial corundum, one of the hardest minerals in the world, and is combined in grits suitable for finishing blades of 2000 and 6000. This type of whetstone diminishes much more slowly than conventional waterstones, and there is no need to soak it in water before use (just splash it with water).
A combination of oversized fine whetstones for finishing knives. 2000 grit on one side, 6000 grit on the other. Suitable for effective sharpening of various types of knives (Japanese, kitchen, closing, fixed blade), it will sharpen razor blades or very fine tools to a fine finish.
The stone is supplied with a non-slip base for easy sharpening, when it does not "run" unnecessarily.
Before sharpening, dip the stone in lukewarm water and start sharpening immediately afterwards. For longer sharpening sessions, continuously re-dip the stone.
