For sharpening applications when versatility is important but storage is limited, the DMT 6-in. Double Sided Dia-Sharp® Bench Stone has you covered. Featuring a continuous diamond sharpening surface and two grit options in one stone, you can sharpen knives, blades, and fine tools alike with professional speed precision. It can even be used to flatten conventional and water stones. This particular model is equipped with extra-coarse diamond (60 micron / 220 mesh) for when significant removal of material is needed to repair damaged edges, along with coarse diamond (45 micron / 325 mesh) to quickly restore a neglected edge. Sized at a convenient 6" x 2" x 1/4" with the diamond grit clearly marked on each side of the stone, you can upgrade the functionality of almost any flat surface in or out of the shop with elite sharpening power. Thanks to its micronized monocrystalline diamond surface as well, you can sharpen edges faster and easier than conventional stones can. No messy oils are needed either, allowing you to sharpen dry or with water.
