Tops Wind Runner XL is a redesigned version of the original TOPS classic hunting knife, this version has the famous TOPS Tungsten Cerakote blade finish.
This is the larger of the two Wind Runners, a great all-purpose hunting knife.
Every detail has been worked into the blade to facilitate the subsequent processing of the animals hunted.
The dampened tip allows the user to skin without fear of puncturing the skin.
The arc and sweeping belly of the blade are ideal for chopping tasks as well as for gutting, skinning and carping.
The high cut makes the knife very strong but with an amazingly sharp edge.
The handle is comfortable in standard hunting grips, and the green canvas Micarta will help the user keep that grip even when wet (a must when processing game).
The Kydex sheath provides excellent retention and a low-profile carry option.
