TOPS Knives US Combat was designed by Laci Szabo, a well-known knife lover and designer. His previous service in the Marine Corps helped him create the US Combat knife. He stayed within the boundaries of the basics of use, shape, and cut he used in the design, making this knife a positive step forward in hard use for not only the military, but a great outdoor tool for general use.
With full-tang construction and a well thought out handle shape, this knife has been taken into the field and used, earning an "A" rating in all aspects. All the guys who have had this knife in their hands have been very impressed with the great feel of power, excellent wet grip, and solid weight with positive performance.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market. These knives are tools that are designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experience of many users in the military, armed forces, outdoor professions and martial arts. Specifically, designers with backgrounds ranging from Navy Seals to Airborne Rangers, from martial arts instructors to survival experts, and from SWAT team members to Native weapons experts were collaborated with. TOPS has a designer from almost every background that uses hard-core knives.
All TOPS knives are handcrafted in a sweatshop in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, USA.
