Product detailed description
The Bestia was first introduced at the SHOT Show 2020 New Products Showcase and was very well received for obvious reasons.
Leo wanted a large knife similar to a kukuri, but not a classic kukuri. So the Beast was created by combining the El Chete - already one of TOPS' most popular workhorses - with the kukri to create a true beast in chopping ability.
The long, forward curved blade and the weight behind it bite deeply with every swing, and the tan traction powder coating will protect the blade for years to come.
The handle is also long enough to hold in two positions. One for full chopping and the other for more controlled and even fine cuts. What makes this knife really comfortable to handle are the sandwich Micarta handles, which are strong but well shaped.
The open kydex sheath with leather hinge makes it easy to carry given its size.
As soon as you pick it up, you can tell it wants to do the hard work.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market. These knives are tools that are designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experience of many users in the military, armed forces, outdoor professions and martial arts. Specifically, designers with backgrounds ranging from Navy Seals to Airborne Rangers, from martial arts instructors to survival experts, and from SWAT team members to Native weapons experts were collaborated with. TOPS has a designer from almost every background that uses hard-core knives.
All TOPS knives are handcrafted in a sweatshop in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, USA.
