Tops Tex Creek Hunter is a tribute to the men and women who hunt and fish in the Tex Creek area of southeastern Idaho.
The open range, high rugged mountains, waterways and extensive forests provide hunters and anglers with a variety of terrain to harvest: elk, bear, cougar, wolves, moose, pheasant, turkey, quail, rabbits, ducks, geese and salmon.
The fact that this area of Tex Creek is so close to TOPS headquarters allows their designers and creators the opportunity to field test them virtually in their own backyard. Since many of their employees grew up in this environment, they have ample opportunity to evaluate the use of TOPS knives/tools under the most adverse conditions. The Tex Creek Hunter knife is a great example of a quality, good looking "work knife".
Dark Micarta blades are bolted to the handle and a large cord holder is highlighted in the back of the handle.
The handles are designed and manufactured for a positive grip and for long term use. The simple and usable design has been enhanced with a sturdy blade and full tang handle.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market.
