"Skullcrusher's X-treme Blade" (SXB) was designed for warriors who want to survive not only in the wilderness, but also on the battlefield. X-treme situations require an X-treme Blade and the SXB meets that requirement and then some! Why play in the wilderness when you can dominate it!!!
This knife was designed by EJ Snyder who, as a highly decorated Army veteran who served in the 1991 Gulf War and Operation Iraqi Freedom, knows what it will take to survive in many X-treme situations from the wilderness to combat, and has tried and proven it every time.
EJ wanted to design a modern knife that would honor the spirit of the pioneers of the past while meeting the demands of the ever-evolving modern world, and a tactical survival tool that would be as tough, durable and reliable as he is; a knife no warrior can do without, the SXB as the X-treme tool for every X-treme job!
EJ has tested many knives, sought the advice of many top custom knifemakers he personally knew, and spent countless hours researching all aspects of the art of knife making. Many influences, needs and rigorous testing went into the thought process and design of the SXB knife. His two-year journey culminated in the creation of his vision by TOPS Knives.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market. These knives are tools that are designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experience of many users in the military, armed forces, outdoor professions and martial arts. Specifically, designers with backgrounds ranging from Navy Seals to Airborne Rangers, from martial arts instructors to survival experts, and from SWAT team members to Native weapons experts were collaborated with. TOPS has a designer from almost every background that uses hard-core knives.
All TOPS knives are handcrafted in a sweatshop in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, USA.
