The Scandi Woodsman was first introduced at the 2014 Blade Show held in Atlanta. Many people who stopped by the Tops booth were impressed by the sleek yet functional design. The inspiration for this knife was its sister knife, the LIONESS. The handle was specifically designed to fit well in smaller hands, but it fits perfectly in larger hands so most people can pick it up and use it comfortably.
The blade shape has a lot of belly, making it a very handy skinner. The Scandi Woodsman also works very well for a variety of bushcraft or camping related tasks.
The finger guard is very aggressive, reducing the risk of losing your grip and accidentally cutting your fingers, making it great for beginners. But even knife veterans will recognize the benefits you can get with this knife.

In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market.
