The Armado 6.5 knife is a joint effort between TOPS and Navarrete Knives, and is the brainchild of Josh Navarrete, the outstanding knifemaker and winner of the "Forged in Fire" competition.
Originally from Oregon, Navarrete has infused his mantra of simplicity and efficiency into this knife.
Years in the making and years in the making, the Armado 6.5 boasts a high cut for perfect blade geometry and can effortlessly handle food, wood and outdoor necessities. In late 1998, the TOPS Knives brand was founded with the goal of creating some of the highest quality knives on the market. These knives are tools that are designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experience of many users in the military, armed forces, outdoor professions and martial arts. Specifically, designers with backgrounds ranging from Navy Seals to Airborne Rangers, from martial arts instructors to survival experts, and from SWAT team members to Native weapons experts were collaborated with.
