Slicing is often faster than cutting or slicing. Silky NATA is a cross between a knife and an axe. It is forged from SKS-51 (JIS) steel and the special Genki rubber handle absorbs shock very well: vibrations are hardly transmitted to the hand or arm. In addition, the handle can be easily removed from the machete and cleaned or replaced with a new one.
This NATA model is designed as double-sided sharpened (double-edged), for splitting wood.

To maintain effectiveness, the knife should be kept clean. The resin dissolves in olive oil, which is an effective and environmentally friendly way to maintain the blade. More aggressive liquids can damage the rubber material of the handle.
When not in use, ensure that the machete is always dry. Store the saw in a dry place, preferably in a sturdy case or suitable sheath.

In addition, several models, such as Sugoi, Hayate and Tsurugi, are made of high-alloy steel, which makes the saw blade stronger, more resistant to corrosion and better equipped to withstand temperature changes. All saw blades are replaceable and the replacement itself is simple.
