The Real Steel brand was founded in 2013 in Hangzhou City on the east coast of China and immediately impressed knife lovers around the world with its models, their appearance, but above all the excellent quality of workmanship and materials used. Of course, a manufacturer of such knives does not come into being in one day, before Real Steel introduced its own brand, it already had many years of experience in the development and production of knives for the world's most famous knife companies.
The designer of some of the knives is Mr. Liang Gang. He was born in China in 1973 and has been working in the knife industry since the early 1990s. He is not only a designer, but also an excellent engineer and an experienced production manager. He has designed knives for many famous brands in the last ten years, but since 2013 Liang Gang has been providing his designs exclusively to the Real Steel brand.
Among the most famous designs in the closing knife section is the E771 Sea Eagle, which features not only the excellent Sandvik 14C28N Swedish steel, but a bearing at the blade attachment in the handle. This system is practically perfect, ensuring a very smooth blade with zero backlash.
Real steel also produces limited edition pieces such as the titanium S6 with VG10 steel, the Snow Leopard with Elmax steel or the T101 Thor in a beautiful black and blue colour.
In fixed blades, the flagship is Bushcraft with the proven Swedish D2 steel. An interesting development in quality is the Mini 127 II "neck knife" series, where these neck knives are again made of D2 steel.
New for 2017 is the Megalodon E801 in a luxurious titanium finish, or with G10 blades. Real Steel now also offers the elegant G3 PUUKKO or Griffin Titanium knife for gentlemen. Very interesting is the new fixed blade model Bushcraft Plus with Scandi and Survival cut
