Handcrafted rugged knife with full tang construction for the wilderness and designed for expeditions. The combination of an all-metal handle made from carefully selected light ash wood from FSC certified European forests, together with a black 3.2mm thick blade made from recycled Swedish stainless steel, makes the knife ready for tough work in the wilderness. The blade's spine is also compatible with a magnesium fire starter, which means you'll always have the heat from your campfire on hand.
The sturdy handle made from unique ash wood features a finger guard, functional handle foot and a 3.2 mm thick black blade made from recycled Swedish stainless steel. Which, together with the specially designed curvature of the blade, ensures strength and stability with every cut. The knife has been developed for tough challenges and has exemplary features for those who need a safe and robust tool. The black PC-finish creates a balanced contrast between the light ash wood and the glossy blade edge. The vegetable-tanned leather sheath has a belt loop and protects the sharp blade from surfaces that could dull the knife. The Bow is also compatible with the Dangler 10 accessory with a knob that allows you to extend the distance between the knife sheath and belt.

Family names that tell the story of MORA
There has always been a strong tradition of craftsmanship in MORA, thanks to its proximity to Swedish nature, rich in materials such as iron ore and wood. The people of Mora have been making sharp knives for the rest of the world for more than 400 years.
For as long as knifemakers have lived in the area, the male first names Anders and Erik have dominated for generations, as have the female names Anna and Kerstin. In fact, children were often given the same name as their parents or grandparents. When there were too many people named Anders or Anna in one village, a surname was added before the first name.
The family name could be taken from the skill of a previous relative, the name of an ancestor, or from some geographical phenomenon. Then Anna could have been named Smids-Anna, whose ancestors were blacksmiths, or Anders could have been named Sol-Anders because he came from the neighboring island of Sollerön.
You can see that these surnames have a common thread in the history of the brand. That's why we are proud to present our new collection of wooden-handled knives. Their names come from the people who were involved in one way or another in the founding of knife manufacturing in Mora. With the Finn, Wit, Lok & Rombo knives, we look back decades and note that the story of our beloved Moraknivo begins long before our company first saw the light of day.
