Product detailed description
M2M is a fixed blade knife, an evolution of its older brother M2, it has a longer handle to make the knife easier to hold during different washes. At the same time, the handle blades have been 3D milled to have a more ergonomic shape.
The blade is made of top quality M390 steel and has a satin finish. The sharp corner of the flared blade can be used for flint, creating the sparks needed to light a fire. This is safer for the end user as the knife can also be held inside the sheath, so there is no risk of slipping on the blade edge.
The leather sheath is stronger and more flexible, and has been improved by double stitching and the addition of two removable leather straps with screws. This designed sheath allows either vertical or horizontal carry, even on M.O.L.L.E. systems, in a variety of positions and solutions.

LionSteel was founded in 1969 in Maniago, where knife making is as traditional as in Solingen, Germany. It was founded by Mr. Gino Pauletta, and was mainly focused on contract manufacturing of knives from other manufacturers. A few years later, the company produced the first knives of its own design, thus creating the LionSTEEL brand. The name of the factory is given by the stone statue of a lion standing in front of the building and the material from which the knives are made.
At the end of the 1990s, the founder's three sons, John Daniel and Maximus, join the work. At that time, the company made a great leap in quality with the introduction of digital machine control.
At this time the company has fifteen employees and sells its products not only in Europe but also in the USA. It focuses on the production of knives of the highest quality. The company's philosophy is to supply knives made exclusively in Italy. None of the knives or their components are made in Asia.
