Detailed information

Product detailed description

Designed by Tommaso Rumici in collaboration with Coltelleria Scintilla, the H1 and H2 knives rethink the karambit as a utilitarian tool, retaining the typical ease of draw, handling and speed of a classic knife, and complemented by a blade more versatile than the classic hook blade.
The H1 and H2 are ideal tools for carrying on hiking and hunting trips, even for military use as backup knives, easily carried on any kind of backpack.
The sheath allows either vertical or horizontal carry of both knives, even on M.O.L.L.E. systems,

lionsteel

LionSteel was founded in 1969 in Maniago, where knife making is as traditional as in Solingen, Germany. It was founded by Mr. Gino Pauletta, and was mainly focused on contract manufacturing of knives from other manufacturers. A few years later, the company produced the first knives of its own design, thus creating the LionSTEEL brand. The name of the factory is given by the stone statue of a lion standing in front of the building and the material from which the knives are made.
At the end of the 1990s, the founder's three sons, John Daniel and Maximus, join the work. At that time, the company made a great leap in quality with the introduction of digital machine control.
At this time the company has fifteen employees and sells its products not only in Europe but also in the USA. It focuses on the production of knives of the highest quality. The company's philosophy is to supply knives made exclusively in Italy. None of the knives or their components are made in Asia.
