Product detailed description
TDI, a special knife designed for members of the armed forces, this knife was developed by John Benner, owner and instructor of the TDI training center. He previously served in both the police and the military. He was the founder of the first SWAT unit.
The knife was intended to look relatively unobtrusive, non-aggressive, and be foldable.
The knife serves as a "last resort" in extreme close combat when an attacker is trying to take an officer's weapon. With one hand the officer can protect his firearm, the other can quickly draw the TDI. The knife is designed like a pistol, its grip for combat is more natural than that of a traditional knife, moreover, this shape makes it foldable and much faster than a switchblade knife.
The perfectly shaped handle is made of Zytel, this material does not change size, shape or color over time.
Benner has trained thousands of law enforcement officers since the founding of TDI in 1986.
