Product detailed description
Nord (north) is more than just a direction. It also represents strength, darkness in winter and light in summer. The extreme changes in nature between the seasons, the connection with nature and its influence on us are seen as part of the culture of the North for the same reason at Helle.
The Nord knife is developed to meet the demands of the Scandinavian wilderness. It is based on our knifemaking traditions and takes a step further than what is normally seen here at Helle. This knife combines our history with how we have evolved as a new outdoor generation. Sometimes we use our tools differently than how our ancestors would have.
With a 3.7mm thick Sandvik 14c28n blade and a sharp sheen, it will handle most challenges thrown at it. Still thin enough for cutting performance and strong enough for most tasks on your adventures.

No machine can replace skilled craftsmanship.
Helle knives are made to withstand the pressures and stresses that knives are subjected to during use. Helle maintains its tradition of handcrafted craftsmanship, not subject to automated production and an unnecessarily wide range of models. They believe that the highest quality is achieved through honest hand craftsmanship.
Experienced professionals are proud of the Helle production system. As each piece leaves production, it is checked for up to half an hour, for the sake of certainty that all quality and workmanship requirements of the knife are met.
A Helle knife goes through up to 45 stages of manual operations before finally being inspected and packaged.
