Fred Perrin produces very interesting knives, he uses his own method of sharpening, he also heat-treats the knives himself. He is one of France's most famous knife makers, author of professional publications and runs a school where he teaches a unique martial art, a combination of knife, stick, and hand. He also teaches members of elite police departments.
