Extrema Ratio Misericordia, adopted by the 4th Alpine Ranger who helped develop and test the product. It is a tactical knife with a fixed blade, extremely light and compact, which can be used as a main knife and as a backup knife. The blade is milled from Böhler N690 steel, hardened to 58 HRC, with a classic black Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 finish, and has a spear point profile. At the end, the handle smoothly follows the large ring, which allows the use of martial arts techniques and allows a very firm grip. Since this is a knife designed and intended for professional use, high emphasis has been placed on ease of carry, access and retrieval when needed. The knife is secured in the sheath by a quick release lock that can be easily rotated for left handed use. The highly durable nylon sheath is versatile: an adjustable double clamping system allows the user to attach it to different types of belts.
