The Fat Boy is the toughest fixed blade knife Extrema Ratio has ever made. It is the first model made of N690 (58HRC) steel with a thickness of 8.6 mm and a total weight of 1 kg.
Extrema Ratio set about creating the Fat Boy with its usual determination, combining extreme thickness and design to produce an unrivalled product with an innovative and bold design. Its development was inspired by the first cleavers, which have been used as weapons of war and defence since ancient times.
The Fat Boy is characterised by its exceptional durability. It can be defined as a unique striking tool. Thanks to its generous dimensions, the Fat Boy is ideal for all heavy-duty work, from chipping to extrication in extreme situations, and allows you to perform a variety of typical heavy-duty activities, including levering doors, car doors and windows.
These spectacular features turn into pure fun when the Fat Boy is brought outdoors, where preparation and chopping become a mere formality.
The blade, which features a fully flat cut, has a special tip structure that protects the main blade and combines penetration capability with the ability to be used as a lever. Its shape and width also allow it to dig small holes in the ground in emergency situations.
The back of the blade, thick and flat at the end, gives this tool more weight and surface area, useful for driving and planting stakes.
The handle is made up of two black G10 blades with the new original Extrema Ratio design. They can be easily removed and replaced.

The Fat Boy is available in Satin and Dark Stone, both of which feature a black Cordura sheath with a rubber blade cut lock. The MOLLE system on both sides can be used by both right and left-handed users, depending on which side the two vertical thigh strips are located for height adjustment. This system allows you to attach accessories, sheaths, or an additional backup knife and offers the ability to easily move any accessories from one side to the other. All components of the sheath can be individually replaced.
