Product detailed description
The Dachs SHARK knife is the ultimate tactical tool with a meticulously detailed design inspired by the predation and efficiency of the shark. Every detail reflects the emphasis on functionality, ergonomics and durability in extreme conditions.
The main feature of the knife is the blade made of Böhler N690 high quality steel, known for its excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. With a thickness of 4.5 mm, it provides an optimal balance between strength and cutting power. The DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) surface treatment creates an extremely hard and slip-resistant surface, reduces friction when cutting and significantly increases scratch resistance. The blade shape, inspired by the profile of a shark's head, improves material penetration.
The knife body transitions seamlessly into a handle made of Micarta, a composite material that provides excellent resistance to moisture, extreme temperatures and mechanical stress. The textured surface and thoughtful shaping ensure a firm and comfortable grip even when wearing gloves or in wet conditions. The back of the handle is finished with an integrated glass breaker, which increases the knife's usability in crisis situations.
The knife comes with a precision-moulded kydex sheath that provides a firm grip while allowing for quick one-handed draw. The modularity of the sheath supports a variety of attachment methods to belt or gear, thus adapting to the user's individual preferences.

Czech knife manufacturer Dachs knives has been producing custom knives since 2002. Its range of interest includes both fixed and closing knives. The idea of Dachs Manufakture (Industrial Production) was born at the end of summer 2019, when the company came up with the idea to start producing knives with the help of a machining centre.
We offer knives where the machining centre has helped with the production, but it is still manual work and finishing such as edge stripping, grinding, fitting, chamfering, and finishing is still done by human hands.
Dachs knives prides itself on the fact that the knives are completely made in the Czech Republic!
