About the designer
Tony Lennartz has been an icon in the outdoor, survival and bushcraft industry for decades. His vast experience comes from his many years as a professional soldier and police officer, as well as his lifelong passion for wilderness living. During his many extended stays in Canada, he has developed a close relationship with the culture of Canada's indigenous people, whose techniques and methods he was able to learn there. Tony Lennartz's training courses, held over a vast area in Eifel, have taught thousands of participants the basics of wilderness survival over many years. Like no one else, Tony Lennartz combines decades of wilderness experience to continually develop his strategies and techniques. His knife and axe designs are thus the essence of his knowledge and a clear commitment to his philosophy of uncompromising functionality.
