The Thai Machete's wide and long blade and its curvature, make it an excellent "bush cutter". The blade with Full tang construction is made of 1055 carbon steel with an anti-corrosive black finish. Steel 1055 is a tool grade carbon steel. The carbon content and low alloying of this shallow hardened steel makes it a very strong material that is not prone to brittleness. The sturdy polypropylene handle has a flattened oval shape and therefore does not twist when working in the hand. The Thai Machete comes with a Cor-Ex sheath for transport and storage.
