Product detailed description
This is a utility and combat knife originating from the South American region, specifically it was widely used in Argentina, Brazil or Uruguay. It resembles a large chef's knife, having roots somewhere in the 14th century. The blade is made of 1090 carbon steel. It sharpens well and holds its edge for a long time, while also retaining a high degree of stiffness. The handle of the Facon is hand carved with a traditional motif of exotic Malaysian Sal Wood and is finished with a wrought nickel insert and pommel on the front and back. The hard black leather sheath is made in the spirit of Argentine tradition.
