The legendary BuckMaster Model 184 knife revolutionized the knife world in the 1980s. Originally designed as an essential tool for military use, it soon gained popularity not only among soldiers, but civilians as well. In 1985, Buck Knives supplied 2,500 BuckMaster knives to the elite U.S. Navy SEALs.
For 2024, Buck Knives is proud to introduce the highly anticipated 084 BuckMaster 2.0 Combat Diver Pro. This knife is manufactured to the highest standards with direct input from current and former military members, including retired U.S. Navy SEAL Commander D.T. Coulter. Coulter, who devoted fifty-five years of his life to the search for the perfect diving knife, contributed to the development of BuckMaster 2.0. This new generation of BuckMaster knives is designed to meet the rigorous demands of today's military. The BuckMaster 2.0 Combat Diver Pro will only be available until December 31, 2024, with the total number of units limited to 1,000.
BuckMaster 2.0 is equipped with an anchor system called Emergency Anchor Wing (EAW). Unlike the two-piece detachable pin system that the original BuckMaster had, the EAW consists of a one-piece, double-sided wing that is universally applicable. The knife has a sturdy blade with a tip that is suitable for specific diving tasks such as salvaging and digging. Commander Coulter's designs, based on real field experience, have been further enhanced with a special heat treatment developed by expert Paul Bos. The BuckMaster 2.0 is thus ready for any task. Also included is a black kydex holster, made in the USA.
