Product detailed description
The manufacturer Mauser, known for its historic military weapons such as the Model 98, has for some time been dedicated exclusively to hunting guns and related outdoor accessories. In a joint project with Boker, the classic M1 hunting knife was developed more than 25 years ago. Boker Plus M-One Damascus revives this idea and sees the fixed-blade knife silhouette as a modern tribute to the increased demands of quality-conscious hunters and collectors. The drop-point blade in 67-ply damascus combines a refined look with uncompromising functionality. The necessary stability is provided by the massive blade and the ergonomically shaped handle made of beautiful, solid, earthy ebony. The large bolsters follow the damascus blade design and add an intense touch to the fixed blade knife. A hollow brass cord attachment pin is incorporated into the handle to accentuate the M-One's damascus in classic fashion. The knife comes with a quality leather sheath.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
