Product detailed description

Minimalist design with maximum commitment: Burnley in its purest form, purist, for the boundless spirit of discovery.
With the Boker BFF Packlite Stargaze knife, American knife maker Lucas Burnley expands the successful BFF line with a knife with a lightweight carcass and a detachable handle with scales made of Richlite, an extremely sustainable FSC-certified composite material made from recycled resin.
The black all-steel construction with a drop-point blade in CPM MagnaCut powder metallurgical material (61-62 HRC) with Cerakote coating means maximum stability with excellent cutting properties.
Tough, durable, corrosion resistant and tough - no blade can offer more performance.
The sleek design and accentuating handle screws, which take on a golden sheen when heated, complete the agile character of the solid blade both visually and functionally.
The design concept is stylishly realised in the lightweight recesses in the handle, emphasising the tactical claim of a full-size neck knife with additional attachment options.
EDC, tactical or as a backup knife - the BFF Packlite is so versatile that it doesn't need to be tied down and is always open to new tasks.
It comes with a snug-fitting kydex sheath and ball chain. Handmade in the Boker manufactory in Solingen.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
