Product detailed description
Designed by Lucas Burnley, the Böker Barlow BFF is produced as a solid EDC in full tang and in this version features green canvas micarta handle grips. With this practical knife, the renowned designer and full-time knife maker from the USA bridges the gap between the historical roots of the tried-and-true Barlow knife and the modern elements of his lines, which are referred to as Post Tactical. The Barlow's distinctive drop point shape has its roots in 17th century English pocket knives, making it one of the most traditional knives ever. The name of the classic knife probably comes from the enterprising Sheffield knife maker of the same name, who began exporting sturdy knives to North America around 1800. There, they were immediately popular, and the first Barlow models in the history of the Böker manufactory appeared in the late 19th century.
This solid version harmoniously combines tradition, everyday utility and tactical refinement. The Barlow BFF compact knife is made of ice-hardened AEB-L steel, a versatile steel with excellent cutting capabilities, good corrosion resistance and easy resharpening. This version of the timeless fixed blade classic has a textured micarta handle and feels comfortable in the hand. The decorative hollow brass rivet also serves as a lanyard loop and, along with rivets of the same color, adds a visual accent. It comes with a black leather case that fits perfectly and ensures a high level of comfort when worn thanks to the integrated clip.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
