The blade is approximately 146 mm long and is made from premium powdered CPM 3V tool steel, known for its exceptional toughness, high resistance to breakage and excellent blade retention even when working hard. The 5.5mm blade thickness ensures sufficient strength for chopping, soldering and batoning techniques.
The drop point blade profile with fine convex cut provides excellent control for cutting and precision tasks. The convex cutting edge, typical of Bark River, aids in a smooth cut and increases overall blade durability. The overall length of the blade is approximately 280 mm, which represents an ideal compromise between maneuverability and performance. The full tang construction ensures maximum strength - the blade goes all the way through the handle to the end.
