(0.95% Carbon (C), 17% Chromium (Cr), 0.5% Molybdenum (Mo), 1% Manganese (Mn), 0.1% Vanadium (V), 1% Silicon (Si)) High carbon stainless steel in an excellent ratio of resistance and toughness of blade versus corrosion. It behaves similarly to tool steels. Similar properties to Gin-1. Typical Rockwell hardness is 60 HRc. USA / Carpenter Technology
