Knife or tool sharpening stone. Combination version where the stone is a very fine 2000 grit on one side and a coarser 600 grit on the other. High quality sharpening stone of larger size for comfortable sharpening of different types of knives (kitchen, closing, fixed blade knife) or tools (chisels, carving tools).
The stone is supplied with a non-slip base for easy sharpening, when it does not "run" unnecessarily.
Dip the stone in lukewarm water before sharpening and start sharpening immediately afterwards. For longer grinding, continuously re-dip the grinding wheel.

Knife sharpening stone 600/2000 is one of the most popular types of knife sharpening stones. This stone is ideal for most types of knives, including kitchen knives and hunting knives.
This type of sharpening stone consists of two sides. The first side has a coarser grit of 600, which is ideal for sharpening knives that have larger flaws. The coarse grit also helps remove sharp edges and restore the original shape of the knife edge.
The second side of the stone has a finer grit of 2000, which is ideal for finishing the grind. This side of the stone will create a finer edge that will provide the ultimate knife sharpness. This side also helps remove steel residue and leaves the knife with a higher shine.
Grinding a knife on a 600/2000 stone is virtually easy. First, soak the stone in water for about 10 minutes. Then place the stone on a flat surface and bring the knife to the required angle against the stone. Then start sharpening the knife slowly and regularly in one direction. Work from the root of the blade towards the tip of the knife and vice versa.
When you have finished sharpening the first side, move on to the second side. In this case, use the finer side of the 2000 grit stone. Again, hold the knife at the desired angle and grind slowly and steadily in one direction.
When you have finished grinding, rinse the stone with clean water and allow it to air dry. Wipe the knife with a clean cloth and check to see if you have the desired edge on the knife. If not, repeat the process on both sides and check that you have achieved the desired result.
It is important to note that sharpening a knife on a 600/2000 stone requires some practice and patience.
