Product detailed description

The Böker Plus Yokai Rifle Knife convinces as a reliable mission knife with its aggressive Tanto blade and non-slip handle. The tactical pocket knife was designed by Alessandra De Santis, who as an employee of Hydra Armaments is also known as Hydra Design. The family-owned company from northern Italy specializes in firearms accessories and tactical equipment. A seasoned knife enthusiast, he has been collecting, testing and comparing countless knives since he was 14 years old and has written numerous reports and articles published in various trade magazines. A former industrial chemist, he can draw on a broad knowledge of steels and materials. She is also a firearms enthusiast and an avid practitioner of the Filipino martial arts.
Her modern designs combine her experience in all of these areas to make the Yokai an absolutely exceptional knife. The modified Tanto blade in D2 has a durable black coating, opens with a flipper and is securely locked with a stable liner lock. The handle with modern honeycomb structure fits optimally in the hand even in poor weather conditions, plus the ribbed thumb ramp and ergonomic index finger recess provide additional grip. The red aluminium spacer adds a colourful accent.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
