Blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. The steel contains both molybdenum and vanadium. Molybdenum increases the strength and hardness of the steel, while vanadium increases its wear resistance and toughness. Carbon increases the tensile strength of the steel and increases its resistance to wear and abrasion. Stainless steel handle. Pocket clip.

Much of Spyderco's production is not made in the USA, but in foreign countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Italy and China.
