A key element of the design is a strong spring with superior winding, which has been specially designed and carefully tested to provide optimum force as the blade moves. Each knife has been individually tested and then laser engraved with a unique serial number by the company's knifemakers before being marked with the Hogue logo.

The EX-A05 automatic closing knife features a handle with a SIG grey finish and SIG medallion. Its versatile 3.5" spear point blade is made of stainless steel and has a black Cerakote finish.
