The Forge range combines traditional Japanese knife making techniques with Mcusta's modern design. These knives are characterised by precise craftsmanship that excels in every detail. One of the main features is the damascus blade with hamon pattern, which is made of 33-ply stainless steel with a VG-10 core. This combination of materials ensures high durability and long blade life.
In addition, the handle of the Forge is made of stainless steel and has a Tsuchime hammered finish, giving the knife a sleek and modern look. The overall length of the knife when closed is 11.1 cm, making it a convenient pocket companion.
One practical feature is the pocket clip positioned for carrying on the right hand facing downwards, making the knife easily accessible in everyday use. It is important to point out that this clip is not reversible, which is a good thing to consider when choosing one for left-handed users.
