Because the DoubleDown machete folds down to half its size, it can be easily stowed in a backpack, on a belt or attached to a MOLLE system. The unique design allows the user 3 different functions in one compact package: chopping, cutting and baton. The patented 4-lock system engages in 3 positions to ensure safe working at different load levels.
